about us

Kaurs United, which branches off of the Guru Nanak Academy, was established during Fall 2004 in British Columbia, Canada. A few Singhnia in Canada came together with one common interest: inspiring the future generations of Sikh women. Our aim: to educate women around the globe about what our 10th Guru, Siri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, taught his beloved Sikhs.

Shaheed Bibian from the past, inspirational Bibian of the present and the anticipated strong Bibian of the future form the backbone of Kaurs United. We are here to inspire, help, and unite Sikhs around the world.

With Guru Ji’s kirpa, we aim to hold international camps for Sikh youth. At these camps we will encourage Sikhism and the teachings of our great Gurus, hold instructive workshops, invite guest speakers from around the world to talk about Sikhi, have morning and evening kirtan darbars and do naam abhiyaas.

We hope to see you at one of our future camps!
